I’m a Kentucky boy who got to South Carolina as fast as I could after marrying the woman of my dreams.  Adopting the Palmetto State as my home was one of the easiest decisions ever.  Now my wife, daughter, and I are firmly entrenched in the culture of this great State and are here forever.

My background is quite diverse and has thoroughly prepared me to be a compassionate, caring real estate professional.  In high school, whether it was taking my little sister to the governor’s mansion to spend time with her best friend, to working on a farm during the summers, to spending nearly every weekend at the country club, to participating in team and individual sports, to surreptitiously sneaking around to leave bags of Christmas gifts on the doorsteps of the underprivileged in my small town, I learned that the needs of people are pretty much the same no matter what their lot in life. They want to be treated with dignity and respect.

My childhood experiences made it easier for me to feel comfortable in the presence of paupers and kings.  I have met presidents of nations, African kings, people at the highest levels of business and politics, in addition to the poorest of the poor in countries where the average annual income is far less than gainfully employed workers in America earn in less than a week.

My travels have taken me to the Taj Mahal in India, the Great Wall of China, presidential palaces, the garbage dump community outside Guatemala City, and countries where countless families spend their entire lives living on the streets or in cardboard huts.  I visited leper colonies, refugee camps, and prisons.  On either end of the spectrum of life, there is little I have not seen.

As a former soldier in the United States Army, I developed an unwavering love for my country and what it stands for.  As part of the team that pioneered the very first CSI unit in the State of Kentucky, I developed a understanding of what it takes to build something from the ground up.  As a missionary who has travelled in more than 75 nations, I developed a passion for understanding, caring for and helping people.
